NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to the provisions of the Code of the Town of Nunda, and pursuant to New York State Town Law, that a public hearing shall be held by the Town Board of the Town of Nunda at the Nunda Town Hall, located at 4 Massachusetts Street, Nunda, New York at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, for the purpose of considering public opinion and comment about or concerning a proposed local law relating to the following:
“A local law to create a moratorium that will temporarily prohibit the acceptance
of applications, review or consideration of applications, or granting of zoning related approvals (including Site Plan and Special Use Permit), or issuance of zoning or building permits for all Commercial Development (as hereafter defined) within the Town of Nunda for a period of up to twelve (12) months, pending further developments and amendments to the Town’s Comprehensive Plan and adoption of subsequent local laws and/or ordinances to supplement or modify the current land use regulations contained in the Zoning Law of the Town and Village of Nunda.”
A copy of the proposed local law is available for review by the public at the office of the Town Clerk during regular Town Clerk hours.
All interested persons are invited to appear and be heard at the aforesaid time and place.
