NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to the provisions of the Code of the Town of Nunda, and pursuant to New York State Town Law that a public hearing shall be held by the Town Board of the Town of Nunda, at the Town Hall, located at 4 Massachusetts Street, Nunda, New York at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 11 , 2022 for the purpose of considering public opinion and comment about or concerning the following:
A Local Law to override the limit on the amount of real property taxes that may be levied by the Town of Nunda pursuant to General Municipal Law §3-c 5, and to allow the Town of Nunda to adopt a budget for the fiscal year 2023 that requires a real property tax levy in excess of the “tax levy limit” as defined by General Municipal Law §3-c 2 (g).
